• The following death cards are from the tiny historic town of Ellar in Limburg-Weilburg (Hesse), first documented in 807. In the modern era the population is 1,250 [2022]. This sampling of death cards from this tiny town must have reflected a terrible tragedy. The loss of so many young, vibrant lives must have truly hurt the community. But it was a terrible necessity to save not only Germany, but Europe and the Aryan race, and ultimately the world. We National Socialist fighters of today must ensure their young lives were not sacrificed in vain.

[Above: 'Herzliche Teilnahme' (Warm Sympathy). The black border of this postcard signifies mourning. It can be found on death cards and other material as well.]

[Above: Another mourning card, this says: 'Er Starb, damit wir leben sollen' (He died so that we might live).]

[Above: Another mourning card, this says: 'Gefallen für's Vaterland - Herzliche Teilnahme' (Fallen for the Fatherland - With Heartfelt Sympathy).]
