[Mountains of books have been written about Rudolf Hess' mysterious flight to England. But perhaps more interesting are the scans below, which are an account taken from a newspaper the day after it happened. These scans are from Omaha, Nebraska's Evening World Herald, May 13, 1941. Hess left Germany on May 10, 1941, arriving that night in Scotland. It was not announced in Germany until May 12th.]
