[Above: This was done by the artist Elk Eber, entitled 'Ein Meldegänger' (A Messenger). Unlike all of the other postcards shown here, which were published by Heinrich Hoffmann, the next few postcards were not published by Hoffmann. This particular postcard was published by Emil Köhn and bears a very large postcard number (which doesn't seem to correlate with the Hoffmann set). It is interesting that a small handful of postcards from the House of German Art, which weren't published by Hoffmann, have no number. This makes it almost certain that these numbers were not from The House of German Art, but from Hoffmann.]
