Razorblades and Rain

Remember the nights, in razorblades and rain, we broke free?
You promised to always be you, and I was damned to be me

We were drunk with more than each other's madness
The night, worn with our angry footsteps, we dulled our agony with pain
We tore a hole in the sky and drove ourselves insane

Alone together, we clawed at the forest moon
We defied the lightning, strike us down
Entangled in the stinking weeds, nailed to the ground

Laughing at this sobering sadness, a certainty stirring in our brains
Spitting poisons into each other's soul
Two ticking time bombs, with no where to blow
