Black Sun Society
[Vinland Winds]

-Format-Three 7"s Boxset-

This is a beautiful release from Vinland Winds from 2004. Spear of Longinus is an Australian band which began in 1993 (1992-1993 they were known as Equimanthorn) and produce unique and powerful black metal. It's a tragedy that the soul behind Vinland Winds, Richard Mills, died on the morning of August 28, 2006. He obviously loved this band and it shows in the quality and little details of this boxset. This boxset is legendary and very sought after for a reason. It contains some of the best Spear of Longinus material ever. The boxset itself contains three 7" records, stickers and a patch. It is limited to 488 copies.

Bathory

In Memory of Quorthon - The Vinyl Box
[Black Mark]

-Format-Seven LP Boxset-

The untimely death of Quorthon was one of the all-time greatest tragedies in metal. This massive boxset commemorates his groundbreaking and influential career. Personally, I first heard Bathory when I was twelve years old. I had purchased a used cassette of 'Under the Sign of the Black Mark'. It would be one of my favorite albums for the rest of my days. As the years went by I discovered more dark gems of Bathory. When the album Hammerheart was released it featured a Bathory reborn. The track 'One Road to Asa Bay' is a masterpiece of mankind. The gems kept on coming... truly too many to list. Diverse and deeply talented, this remarkable band gave us two genres: atmospheric Black Metal and Viking Metal. Bathory, to me, may be one of the greatest bands ever.

This 2015 limited edition vinyl boxset includes the following:

3 double gatefold LPs
