    [Note: Here are some unpublished shots of Glen Benton and the band from when we interviewed them during the 'When Satan Lives' era. Despite what might be thought, Glen was a down to earth, generally cool person.]

    [Above: The guy in the lower right hand corner of the above picture is named Carl. He was an all around good guy and a cool person in the local scene. Carl was in a local death metal band called 'Lead'. One time after a local show a lot of people including myself went to a party. Carl proceeded to eat a bunch of magic mushrooms and lock himself in the bathroom. Eventually someone had to kick down the door because Carl wouldn't say anything or open the door, for all anybody knew he had killed himself or something. Well after getting the bathroom door open we found Carl eating toothpaste and muttering...

    'Come dawn we're all going to be hating life...'

    Wise words indeed! Ha!]

    '666 Abvulabashyirik Hailz'? What kind of an awesome opener is that?! This silver tongued Singaporean really knows how to butter a girl up! He wastes no time talking about trivialities and gets right to the point of breasts and offering a job, the only requirements: 'extreme nudity and nature'! HAHA! (nevermind the fact that this letter was sent about six years after the Grimoire issue came out!)]
